Connie Mae Freeman Born in Duluth, Minnesota on April 8, 1961. Departed on Dec. 4, 2002 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Cottonwood resident Connie Mae Freeman died December 4th. She was 41 years old. Connie was born in Duluth, Minnesopta on April 8, 1961. She worked at the Jerome Brewery and Cheers in Jerome, AZ. Connie loved her children and enjoyed taking classes at the college, cooking and being creative. She always dreamed of having her own small specialty foods store and restaurant. Survivors include her children: Jason Freeman 21, Cathrine Freeman 18, Eli Freeman 16, Rikka Freeman 13, Cassidy Meneley 7, a beautiful granddaughter Eve Christensen 2, and a grandbaby due this month Tabitha, her mother Arleen Freeman and sisters Suni Freeman, Donna Meredith and her brother Roy Freeman. Connie was preceded in death by her father Richard Freeman. The Freeman Family would like to express to all the friends, co-workers and local businesses that helped them with donations for the raffle and Cassidy's Girl Scout Troop and many other local organizations for all the prayers, gifts and cards that Connie received through her long battle with cancer. They would also like to give special thanks to the Verde Valley Medical Center, The Cancer Center in Sedona, Northern Arizona Hospice and all the nurses, doctors and aides for all their compassion and care and the quality of care that Connie received from each one of you. You are all greatly appreciated. A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 9th at 11:00 a.m. at the Westcott Funeral Home 1013 E. Mingus Avenue Cottonwood.
