Ernest LittleJim - Larson, 79, of Middle Verde died December 1, 2002. He was born December 12, 1922 in Valentine, Arizona.

During World War II, he served in the Army with the 165th Field Artillery Battalion.

He retired as a groundskeeper for the US Forest Service.

Mr. Larson was involved in Yavapai Culture Teachings.

He leaves daughters, Miriam T. Haddo and Ernestine S. Larson, both of Camp Verde; sisters, Vera Whatoname, Marian Whatoname and Audrey Whatoname, all of Peach Springs, Ariz; thirty-four grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Services were held December 4. Burial will be at the Middle Verde Tribal Cemetery.
