Carol Arminda Saad, 81, of Clarkdale died on Monday, March 10, 2003. She was born on June 23, 1921 in Boone, Iowa.

A resident of Arizona for 16 years, Mrs. Saad worked for a tire manufacturer in the accounting department. She was an avid bridge player at Lampliter Village and Pine Shadows. She was also a member of The Republican Women's Club and had served as a volunteer at Verde Valley Medical Center and the Chamber of Commerce. She loved to read and do word search puzzles.

Mrs. Saad is survived by a daughter: Pamela Connolly of Avondale; Sons: Paul M. Saad, II and his wife Elaine of Rimrock; William C. Saad and his wife Petrel of Mancelona, Mich.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Private family services are under the direction of Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood. Memorial donations may be sent to Northern Arizona Hospice, 269 S. Candy Lane, Cottonwood, Arizona, 86326.
