Gloria Jean Hobbs

Born in Chicago, Illinois on Sept. 19, 1925.
Departed on March 12, 2003 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona.

Gloria Jean Hobbs was born Gloria Jean Lancaster in Chicago, Illinois September 19, 1925. She died March 12, 2003 at her daughter's home in Cottonwood at the age of 77.

She graduated from Mundaline College in Chicago with a degree in Sociology. She swam all over the world with Buster Crabb as one of his water ballerinas.

She moved to Phoenix in 1950, and worked for several Catholic Organizations. Mrs Hobbs came to Cottonwood in 1998. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Hobbs.

She is survived by daughter Cynthia Lynne Elisabeth Rahn; son Charles of Phoenix; a brother, Ken Lancaster of Chicago; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A private service will be held at a later date. We will miss her dearly.
