| THE WICKENBURG SUN THE WEEK OF August 6, 2003 Danny Pettit passed away July 29, 2003 at the age of 52. Danny was a caring, loving man who put the needs of others before his own. Danny served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and worked as a DPS Officer for 27 and one-half years. Twenty years of this service with DPS was in Wickenburg. After his retirement in January of 2001, Danny continued working at DPS as a Civilian Reserve. Danny married his wife Debbie on April 18, 1975. Danny and Debbie have two wonderful children, Lisa, 23, and David, 20. Leora is Danny's mother and the one responsible for the caring man that Danny was. Danny will be greatly missed, but always remembered and loved by us all. There was a viewing for family and friends on Aug. 5, 2003 at Heritage Funeral Chapel in Peoria. Memorial donations may be made in Danny's memory to the Lymphoma Research Center or Phoenix Children's Hospital Cancer Center. |
