THE WICKENBURG SUN THE WEEK OF August 6, 2003 Rosie L. Casper of Wickenburg passed away Aug. 2, 2003 in her home. Rosie was born to Walter L. Duncan and Nancy Josephine (Bales) Duncan on April 7, 1924 in Clarksdale, Texas. The family moved to eastern Arkansas where she met Cecil H. Casper. They married on Oct. 4, 1942 and were married for 57 and one-half years before Cecil's passing. Rosie was a member of the Gospel Outreach Church. She was also a member of the Morristown Women's Club and the Wickenburg Art Club. When the Wickenburg Nursing Home was open, she and Cecil volunteered there for many years. Rosie was a very special lady who will be missed by all whose lives she touched. She is survived by three children, Glenda Casper of Glendale, Ariz., Ed Casper of Wickenburg, Ariz., and Joan Oltmans of Sterling Ill.; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, Aug. 6 (today) from 9 to 10 a.m. at Wickenburg Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. at Wickenburg Funeral Home with graveside services to follow at the Morristown Cemetery. Pastor Victor Bedoin will officiate.
