| THE WICKENBURG SUN THE WEEK OF August 6, 2003 Mrs. Elinor Moreton died on July 27, 2003 after an extended illness. She was born in Troy, N.Y. on Nov. 6, 1920. She graduated from Emma Willard School and Russell Sage College and worked as a chemist for a number of years. She and her husband Douglas Moreton have lived in Wickenburg since 1967. She was an Elder of the Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her husband Douglas H. Moreton; her daughters Marilyn Whitney and Cynthia Kuhn; son Bruce Moreton; grandchildren Elizabeth, Matthew and Robert Moreton, Elena and Eric Kuhn. Elinor was loved by all for her lively intellect, gentle good spirit and devotion to her family. Services will be held in Flagstaff, Ariz. in September. |
