George H. Moorwessel

Born Jan. 5, 1929, 79 years old, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Bertha and George J. Moorwessel, George died at Scottsdale Memorial Hospital-Shea, June 14, 2008 with his children and grandchildren at his side.

He served in the armed forces from 1951-1953 stationed in Japan. George retired in 1988 from Richards-Wilcox in Joliet, Ill. as the traffic manager only to serve as a bus driver for FHUSD for 10 years upon his residency in Arizona.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sally; daughter Diane Przybysz (Patrick); sons David and Robert; grandsons Alexander and Zachary Przybysz; granddaughter Karen Pracker; as well as two great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter and his beloved dog Maddy.

George’s family called him “Puttsy” for his penchant to putter around the house. He was a kind and patient man and will greatly missed by all.

A memorial service was held Friday, June 20, 2008, at Messinger Fountain Hills Mortuary Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Humane Society.
