Maraloyd Abbuhl Wentworth passed away April 10, 2003. Born 9/13/1913 in Grafton WV. Lived in New Philadelphia, Oh.
Married Bill Abbuhl 10/28/32. Moved to Wickenburg, AZ in 1948. Bill died in 1951. Married Murray Wentworth of Wickenburg on 9/30/1956. Maraloyd enjoyed many hobbies including bowling, tanning, ceramics, gardening and raising flowers.
Survived by her husband, Murray; son, Dick Abbuhl & wife Kathy of Wickenburg; daughter Elaine & husband Dick Carlson of Phoenix; grandchildren, Shelly Wagner, Alan Davis, Tim Kerrigan and Ricky Abbuhl; four greatgrand children, Dimitri & Joshua Davis, Adriane & Katie Wagner; brother Leonard McIntosh of Arcadia, Oh. Two grandchildren, Bill and Diane Abbuhl preceded her in death. Visitation is April 15th, 6 to 8 PM, Frey's Funeral Home Wickenburg. Se

Maraloyd Wentworth was born Sept. 13, 1913, in Grafton, W.Va. She was the third child of Homer and Zula Shepler McIntosh. Siblings were Edward, Bertha, Leonard, Merl and Berl, and Thelma. The family lived in Connelsville, Pa., then moved to New Philadelphia, Ohio.
On Oct. 28, 1932, she married Willard "Bill" Abbuhl of New Philadelphia. They had two children, Richard "Dick," and Elaine. In 1948 they moved to Wickenburg, Ariz. Bill passed away in 1951 of valley fever.
Maraloyd married Murray Wentworth of Wickenburg on Sept. 30, 1956. They lived in many locations throughout the state while Murray worked as an operating engineer. After retiring, they made Wickenburg their permanent home. Maraloyd enjoyed many hobbies during her life, including bowling, hide tanning, writing, ceramics, gardening, flower rising, hummingbird watching and she was a prolific reader.
She passed away on April 10, 2003 and is survived by her husband, Murray; son, Dick and his wife Kathy of Wickenburg; daughter Elaine and her husband Dick Carlson of Phoenix; four grandchildren, Shelly Wagner, Alan Davis, Tim Kerrigan and Ricky Abbuhl; and four great-grandchildren, Dimitri and Joshua Davis, Adriane and Katie Wagner; two grandchildren, Bill and Diane Abbuhl preceded her in death. Her brother, Leonard McIntosh survives, residing with his wife, Madge, In Arcadia, Ohio.
Visitation was held Tuesday, April 15 from 6-8 p.m. at Frey funeral Home on Tegner. Services will be Wednesday, April 16 at 10 a.m. at Frey Funeral Home, with interment at Wickenburg Cemetery.
Donations in lieu of flowers are requested to be made to Special Olympics. Arrangements were handled by Frey Funeral Home.
