GOBER, Wilbur John

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, July 06, 2009 Wilbur "John" Gober was born in Bessmer, Ala. on Feb. 19, 1914. He passed away on June 26, 2009. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Eleanor; one stepson; two grandsons and 26 nieces and nephews. Wilbur served in the Navy for 22 years and retired at 32 years of Government service. He will be greatly missed and forever loved. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Veterans Administration. There are no services planned. Information provided by survivors.
