Danica Ervin Born in Middle Verde, Arizona on Aug. 19, 1917. Departed on July 24, 2003 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Danica Ervin, 86, of Cottonwood died July 24, 2003. She was born August 19, 1917 in Middle Verde. She was a retired telephone operator. She leaves a son, Kenneth and Andrea Ervin; a grandson, Ace C. Ervin; a sister, Rosie Lacey; three brothers, John Kovacovich, George Kovacovich and Emil Kovacovich; and three step-grandchildren, Siberrie Butler, Brenda Frydell and Mark Thompson. A Recitation of the Rosary will be held Wednesday, July 30 in the Immaculate Conception Church, 700 N. Bill Grey Rd, Cottonwood at 10:30 followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Cottonwood Cemetery. Westcott Funeral Home directed these arrangements. Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood and Camp Verde, Arizona.
