Marion Junior Harris, 69, of Surprise, a prison guard, died Jan. 12, 1999. He was born in Evansville, Ind., and was a Korean War Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel; daughters, Linda Gayle Stevanson, Charlotte Marla Green, and Marian Ethel Smith; sons, Dennis Ray, David Eugene, Charles Edward, and James Curti; sister, Ruby Slankard; 23 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Services were at Best Funeral Services and Chapel, 9380 W. Peoria Ave., Peoria. Contributions: American Heart Association, 2929 S. 48th St., Tempe, AZ 85282.
