Magdalena Garcia, age 103, went home to her Creator on January 7, 2007. She was born in Ceuervo, New Mexico on October 25, 1903. She grew up in Concho, Arizona until she married and then lived in different towns in the White Mountains before moving to Snowflake in 1939, where she lived the rest of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon, 2 sons, 2 daughters, 1 grandchild and 1 great-grandchild. She is survived by 2 sons, Juan Garcia of Levittown, PA and David Garcia of Snowflake; 3 daughters, Gloria (Bill) Hargett and Delfina (Bob) Mercer of Snowflake and Ernestina Garcia of Owensville, Kentucky; 18 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Pete Marquez of St. Johns and Jerry Marquez of Los Angles, CA.
The family wishes to extend their appreciation to Hospice for their support and loving care and ask that any monetary gifts be made in her name to the Hall Fund at Our Lady of the Snow.

Magdalena Garcia, 103, went home to her Creator Jan. 7, 2007.
She was born in Cuervo, N.M. Oct. 25, 1903. She grew up in Concho until she married and then lived in different towns in the White Mountains before moving to Snowflake in 1939, where she lived the rest of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon, two sons, two daughters, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
She is survived by two sons, Juan Garcia of Levittown, Penn. and David Garcia of Snowflake; three daughters, Gloria (Bill) Hargett and Delfina (Bob) Mercer of Snowflake and Ernestina Garcia of Owensville, Ky.; 18 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Pete Marquez of St. Johns, and Jerry Marquez of Los Angeles, Calif.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 15 at Our Lady of the Snow Catholic Church in Snowflake with a visitation and Rosary starting at 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 14 at the Church. Interment will be in the RV Mike Ramsay Memorial Cemetery.
