SMITH, Mildred

Thursday, May 14, 2009 Beloved Mildred Smith passed away suddenly May 14, 2009. She is survived by husband, Gordon K Smith; sister Joan Hardy; daughters and sons in law; Marta & John Hurley and Mari & Gary Palmer; sons and daughters in law; John & Patti, Keith & Christa, and Jerry & Vickie; 9 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren and a niece. She is preceded in death by daughter Melva Keysow. Born in Chicago, Jan. 15 1925, she lived in Phoenix for 32 years. Mildred was active in Eastern Star (Worthy Matron, 1973 & 1989), Amaranth (Royal Matron), and the Ladies of the Oriental Shrine and of the Nile. All who knew and loved Mildred know they have been blessed by her presence in this world. In lieu of flowers, make donations to Children's Travel Fund at El Zaribah Shrine.
