GIBSON, Barney Bill

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, June 24, 2006 Barney Bill Gibson died June 18, 2006, at his home in Bagdad, Ariz. He was born Feb. 25, 1928, in Mullen, Neb., the son of John A. and Lucy M. (Jeffords) Gibson. Barney was 78 years old. Barney proudly served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired miner from the Cypress Bagdad Mine. Barney is survived by his loving wife, Nancy, who he married July 7, 1970; children, Chris and Jo Gibson, of Bagdad and Fred and Sheila Medlin of Mesa; sister Jeffie DeFusco, of Martha's Vineyard, Mass.; grandchildren, Cassi (Sean), Carli, Freddy, Harley, Wesley, Bradley and Brently.
