Ryan T. Spude Born in Cottonwood, Arizona on Oct. 7, 1981. Departed on July 20, 2003 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Ryan Travis Spude, 21, of Cottonwood died July 2o as a result of an auto accident. He was born October 7, 1981 in Cottonwood. Ryan was a graduate of Mingus Union High School and Mesa Community College. At Mingus, he was on the 1999 State Championship football team.In the eighth-grade, he was involved in the Arizona Heat He was an Eagle Scout and worked for Red Rock Masonry, Inc. He leaves his parents, Dale A. and Barbara Spude of Cornville; a brother, Logan James Spude; and a grandmother, Jeannine Ervin of Iverness, Florida. A visitation will be held Thursday, July 24 in the Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave, Cottonwood from 5-7 p.m. A service will be held Friday, July 25 in the Church of the Red Rocks, Rt. 179 in Sedona at 3 p.m. Donations in Ryans memory may be made to the Mesa Community College Chemistry Department, 1833 W. Southern Ave., Mesa, Ariz., 85202. Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood and Camp Verde, Arizona.
