Taken fom WMI Central 06/06/2003 Mary Irene Penrod Merrill Mary Irene Penrod Merrill, 67, died May 31, 2003 in Bakersfield, California. She was born in Lakeside and worked at the cafeteria in Whiteriver, and she and her husband worked for many years managing trailer parks. She is survived by her husband, George Merrill; two daughters, Brenda Schwecheimer and Debra Gonzalas; one son, Clifford Merrill; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Freida Lilly and Audrey Hawkins; and four brothers, Lenford Penrod, Curley Penrod, John Penrod and Ed Penrod. Grave side services were held Thursday, June 5 at the Lakeside Cemetery. Owens Mortuary handed local arrangements.
