RICHARDS, Beverly

Beverly Richards, 63, of Lakeside died Saturday, March 8, 2008, in Pinetop. She was born Sept. 30, 1944, to Clarence Hale and Gwen Webb Penrod. Beverly married her high school sweetheart, Terry Richards Aug. 2, 1962, in Lakeside. She was a lifetime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed her various church callings. Beverly lived a life of service to others, through her church callings as well as caregiver to many children throughout the community. She was a gifted athlete and enjoyed being a fast pitch softball player. Beverly is survived by her son, Shannon (Tammy) Richards of Lakeside; seven grandchildren, Isaiah, Cynthany, Colten, Audra, Wryder, Kassidy and Payton; sister Charlayne Whipple; brother Lance (Phyllis) Penrod; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was also expecting her eighth grandchild in July. She was preceded in death by her infant baby brother, Clarence Eugene; husband Terry and her parents, Clarence H. and Gwen Webb Penrod.
