Jasper Gilbert Gentry Born in Pine, Arizona on Feb. 8, 1908. Departed on April 20, 2003 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Jasper Gilbert Gentry, 95, of Cottonwood died April 20. He was born in Pine, Arizona on February 8, 1908 and lived most of his life in the Verde Valley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie and a daughter, Darlene Koski. He is survived by a daughter, Elda and Melvin Jackson, Cottonwood; a son, Arthur and Earlene Gentry, Middle Verde; granddaughters, Phyllis Jackson, Cottonwood, Karen Gentry, Middle Verde, Tracey Smith and Veronica Koski; grandsons, Kenneth Smith and Pete Koski, all of Concord, Calif.; a brother Oscar Pusher, Camp Verde and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Pueblo of Laguna, Laguna, New Mexico. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24 in the Westcott Funeral Home from 4-6 p.m. Burial will be in New Mexico. Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood and Camp Verde, Arizona.
