Clifford C. Baxter Born in Liberty, Arizona on Nov. 15, 1929. Departed on Oct. 12, 2004 and resided in Cornville, Arizona. Clifford C. Baxter, 74, of Cornville died October 12. He was born November 5, 1929 in Liberty, Arizona. He was a veteran of the Navy. Mr. Baxter was a retired heavy equipment operator. He was a cowboy at heart and big interests were horses and rodeos. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Frances Baxter; a daughter, Frances Diane Metz, Florence, Ariz.; sisters, Blanch Anderson and Marci Baxter, both of Cottonwood; brothers, Walter Baxter, Cottonwood and Kenny Baxter, San Diego, Calif.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the family residence 815 N. Aspas Rd at Baxter Lane in Cornville at 10 a.m. Westcott Funeral Home served the family. Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood and Camp Verde, Arizona.
