BARNETTE, Clarabelle

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Sept. 18, 2002, p. A18 Clarabelle Barnett, 92, of Sun City, passed away July 28. Clarabelle was born in 1910 in West Plains, Mo. and in her early years attended school in Wickenburg. Later she moved to California, raised her family, was chairman of numerous charitable organizations and received many honors. She returned to Arizona permanently in 1972 where she was a member of Hassayampa No. 35 Order of the Eastern Star and a retired employee of Revco/Osco Drug. Clarabelle was always giving of herself to make things better for others. She is survived by a daughter, Donna Bennett; son Kirk Barnette; seven grandchildren; and eight grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 at Calvary Baptist Church in Wickenburg. Arrangements were by the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
