Mark D. Schmeller Born in Chewelah, Washington on Nov. 14, 1938. Departed on Jan. 14, 2005 and resided in Clarkdale, Arizona. Mark Douglas Schmeller, 66, of Clarkdale died January 14. He was born November 14, 1938 in Chewelah, Washington. Mr. Schmeller was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired from working on the Central Arizona Project. After his retirement, he went to work for Phelps and Sons, Incorporated. Mr. Schmeller leaves his wife of 38 1/2 years, Helen M. Schmeller son, David J. Schmeller, Bremerton, Wash.; daughters, Wendi L. Rice, Whitefish, Mt. and Marcie L. Bowe, Peoria, Az.; and two grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 22 in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 2 p.m. Westcott Funeral Home assisted the family with these arrangements. Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood and Camp Verde, Arizona.
