DILLARD, Vivian Ruth

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Oct. 25, 2006, A12 Vivian Ruth Dillard, 81, passed away Oct. 19 at her home in Wickenburg. She was born July 19, 1925 in Lindsay, Calif., to Carl and Evelyn Daniel. Vivian met Edwin Dillard, and they were married in August of 1942. They made their home in Wickenburg, where they had their son George. Vivian was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who always took care of her family's needs. She will be missed by all who knew her. Vivian is survived by her son George (Jan) Dillard of Wickenburg; granddaughters Darla (Billy) Green of Wickenburg and Joye (Andrew) Langley of Yuma; great-grandchildren Danny, Eddie, Bobbi Jo, Jennifer, and C.J.; as well as by her brother Dick (Mary Lee) Daniel of Boulder City, Nev., and sister Jackie (John) Allen of Congress. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Edwin; as well as by her brother Bill Daniel. Funeral services were held Tuesday (Oct. 24) at 11 a.m. at Wickenburg Funeral Home. Interment took place at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery. Wickenburg Funeral Home handled the arrangements. The family would like to pay special thanks to Grand Sitting Adventures as well as Hospice of Arizona for their excellent care in the past months.
