SNYDER, Evelyn Marie

Intelligencer Journal, Lancaster, Pennsylvania Thursday, January 1, 1998 Evelyn Marie Snyder, 75, of Prescott, Ariz., died Tuesday at home following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of John Allen Snyder. Born in Florin, Pa., she was a daughter of the late David and Maggie Shannon Wentz. The Snyders had owned and operated the Snyder Texaco Station in Elizabethtown until they moved to Prescott 25 years ago. Mrs. Snyder then was employed by the Yavapai County Treasurers Office for more than nine years. She was a member of American Lutheran Church, Prescott, and Christ Lutheran Church, Elizabethtown, where she sang in the choir. Surviving besides her husband is a sister, Helen Miller of Evergreen, Colo.
