MORRIS, Ernest James

Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Thursday, July 09, 2009 Ernest James Morris passed away July 3rd, 2009. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Helen. Together they shared 63 years of marriage. Ernie proudly served his country with the Marine Corps from 1939 to 1945, stationed in the Pacific. He enjoyed the last 18 months of his life with his family in Sedona. He is survived by his son Ray Morris, daughter-in-law Linda, two grandsons James and Jeffrey and their families. Funeral services will be held in Fullerton, California with interment at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, Calif. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to RTA Hospice (now Hospice Compassus) at Arizona Hospice Foundation, 70 Bell Rock Plaza Suite A, Sedona, Arizona, 86351. Information provided by survivors.
