The Palm Beach Post, Palm Beach, Florida Sunday, June 27, 1999 Marguerite L. (Pegi) Mayne 82, of Loxahatchee, Florida, died Monday, June 21, 1999 at Brighton Gardens by Marriott after a long illness. Born July 10, 1916 in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of Julia K. and Ross Troutman McIntosh. She was a graduate of Southern Seminary and Northwestern University, a Sister of Chapter XI of Chi Omega, and an Honorary Kentucky Colonel. She and her late husband, John D. (Jack) Mayne owned and operated the Plantation Club in Bermuda until their retirement to Boca Raton in the early 70's. She is survived by three children, William P. Mayne II, of Loxahatchee, John R. D. Mayne, Luray, VA, and Mrs. C. T. (Julie) Landers of Camarillo, CA; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Interment was in Prescott, Arizona.
