The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, July 8, 2006 Joe Fraun - Aug. 23, 1922 - June 23, 2006 Loving husband, father and World War I Veteran, Joe Fraun, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2006, at the Mountain View Rest Home in Prescott, Arizona. A long-time resident of Chino Valley, Arizona, he was born in Olean, N.Y., and is survived by his wife, Lavinia Fraun; two daughters, Ann Townsend Benson and Cheryl Thomas; one son, Wallace Fraun; five grandchildren, Shane Townsend, Shannon Townsend, Sharmyn Townsend, Robert Jones and Benjamin Jones; one great-grandson, Spencer Townsend. He was loved and will be missed by his family. Information provided by survivors.
