The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Sept. 18, 2002, p. A18 Marion Sherman Russell, age 101, of Wickenburg, died Sept. 16 at Wickenburg Regional Health Center's Extended Care Unit. Mrs. Russell was born Oct. 1, 1900 on her parents farm near Nora Springs, Iowa. She came to Wickenburg more than 20 years ago. Marion was a good friend and neighbor to all whom she met and especially enjoyed riding the Red Cross bus to the Wise Owl Senior Center, where she was a valued participant for many years. She seldom missed a Friends of Music concert and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her daughter, Doris Eckhart; five grandchildren, Hal of St. Paul, Minn., Anne of Prescott, Gerry of Salem, Ore., Ellen of Clarkston, Mich., and Joyce of Flagstaff; and five grandchildren: Greg, Teresa, Brian, Mary, and Matthew. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 20 at the First Presbyterian Church of Wickenburg. Burial will follow at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery.
