Bessie Thorpe, 86, of Mayer, Arizona, born June 18, 1920, in Plano, Texas, died Tuesday, July 4, 2006, in Mayer.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 9, at Sunrise Funeral Home in Prescott Valley.  Services will follow at 4 p.m. at the same location with Pastor Bill Kolb officiating.

Burial will follow immediately at Heritage Memorial Park Cemetery in Dewey, Arizona.
