GREENE, William (Bill)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, April 17, 2006 William (Bill) Greene, age 65, of Prescott, Arizona, died April 14, 2006, at his home in Prescott. He was born on Jan. 25, 1941, in Putnam, Conn., to Lawrence and Clara Greene. Bill loved living in Prescott and worked at the True Value Hardware store. Some of his favorite pastimes were bowling, playing pool and karaoke. Bill is preceded in death by Carmen, his loving wife of 36 years. Survivors include, daughters, Marie and Brian Kotoff, Chino Hills, Calif. and Kathy Greene of Prescott, Ariz.; a brother, Phil and Sue Greene, Prescott, Ariz.; sisters, Doris and Gary Tautkus, Ellington, Conn., and Laurel and Ron Miller, Haver Hill, Mass.; and grandchildren, Kelly and Jack. A celebration of Bill's life will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2006, at the VA Chapel with visitation from 1 p.m. until service time. Burial will be at a later date at Resurrection Cemetery in Montebello, Calif. Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. Information provided by survivors.
