Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ August 6, 1954, p. 1 Funeral Saturday For Ben Thayer Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Saturday morning at the Wickenburg Chapel for H. B. "Ben" Thayer, 68-year-old resident of Morristown. Rev Carl Adams will conduct the service. Mr. Thayer died Monday afternoon at Community Hospital. He had been hospitalized since July 8, and had undergone surgery. Mr. Thayer was born September 16, 1885, at Nortonville, Kan. He and Mrs. Thayer were married in 1924 at Phoenix, where he was in the ice and ice cream business. They moved to Morristown seven years ago and built a home. He was engaged in mining in the Morristown, area. Survivors include his widow; two sons, Larry and Charles, and four grandchildren.
