ReNell Medley Born in San Diego, California on Oct. 26, 1960. Departed on Nov. 1, 2005 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. ReNell Medley, 45, of Cottonwood died November 1. She was born October 26, 1960 in San Diego, California. At the age of 13, she moved to Cottonwood with her family. A graduate of Mingus Union High School, she has been employed in the business office at Marcus J. Lawrence Hospital and spent time in coastal California as a medical business office manager before returning to Cottonwood. ReNell has struggled with degenerative spinal problems and had many surgeries for several years. She was involved in the foster care of children and had a great love of animals. She is survived by her mother and step-father, Barbara and Don Walters of Clarkdale; father Russ Kerr, Sr., Missoula, Mt.; brother Russ Kerr, Jr., Cottonwood; nephews, Nathaniel and Matthew Kerr, Cottonwood; step-brothers, Don Walters Jr., Flagstaff and Randy Walters, Clarkdale; step-sisters Cheri Lucas, Lacey, Wash. and Cindi Walters of Utah.
