Rachel Santa Maria Rodarte died Nov. 30, 2007, at Mountain View Manor. She was born Oct. 25, 1915, in Superior, Ariz., the daughter of Antonio and Edvujelius (Vallas) Santa Maria. Rachel was 91 years old. 

Rachel married the love of her life, Domingo, 65 years ago. She worked as a seamstress for Mahler Manufacturing.  

Rachel is survived by her husband Domingo and her adopted son, Jose Moncada. Rachel was embraced and loved by the extensive Rodarte family. 

Rosary service will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007, at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, 303 South Cortez with visitation two hours prior. 

Celebration of Life Mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Fleury, with final commendation at Arizona Pioneers Cemetery.
