Eleanor H. Becht Born in Madison, Indiana on Feb. 5, 1913 Departed on Sep. 8, 2006 and resided in Cornville, AZ. Eleanor H. Becht, 93, resident of Cornville, Arizona, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2006 in the Village of Oak Creek-Sedona, Arizona. She was born February 5, 1913 to John Franklin and Bertha (Bechman) Stephan in Madison, Indiana, where she grew up and attended the Madison School District. Eleanor worked as a bookkeeper, and homemaker. She was a member of the Village Park Baptist Church in the Village of Oak Creek. Eleanor was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and mother-in-law who will be missed more than anyone in the world. Eleanor is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Becht, Jr.; her parents, Frank and Bertha and her sister, Dorthy Stephan. She leaves behind her daughters, Dorthy and Paul Moore, Reynoldsburg, Oh., and Betty and Bob Hammons,Cornville, Ariz.; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave., in Cottonwood. Donations can be sent to: Y.E.S.
