He was born July 26, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois. He served his country in the Marine Corps in Vietnam. Mr. Skye received the Vietnam Service Medal with 1 star, the Combat Action Ribbon and the Presidential Unit Citation. Mr. Skye was a member of the American Legion. He leaves a son, LaMarr E. Jones of Akron, New York.
