Guadalupe Garcia Herrera, age 56 of Globe, passed away on July 7, 2009 at Mountain Vista Medical Center in Mesa, Ariz. Guadalupe was born in Morenci, Ariz. on Jan. 17, 1953. She was the daughter of Felipe Garcia and Frances Morales. She was a homemaker and lived her entire life in Arizona. Survivors include her husband, Miguel H. Herrera of Globe, son Miguel S. Herrera, daughters, Vivian Martinez (Fernando), and Veronica Tarango (Patrick); brothers, Fred Garcia of Safford, Lawrence Garcia (Stella) of Morenci, Robert Garcia of Safford, and Phillip Garcia of Tucson. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Joseph Gutierrez-Herrera, Christopher Herrera, Analycia Tarango, and Patrick Tarango, Jr. A memorial service was held on Saturday July 11 at 10 a.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Globe, Ariz. Burial of ashes took place at the Globe Cemetery. Assisting the family is Lamont Mortuary of Globe. (Obit: Arizona Silver Belt)
