Anna Fitzgerald Burke, 86, passed September 21, 2005 at Lake Hills Inn, Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born to Michael and Bridget (Fitzgerald) Burke on February 20, 1919 in New York, NY. Anna moved to Lake Havasu in 1971 from New York City. She was the office manager of KFWJ in Lake Havasu for 12 years, retiring in 1983. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing and traveling with her brother, John. Anna is survived by her loving family, sister, Eileen Leary of New York; nephews, James Burke of Lake Havasu and Jeffrey Howard of Virginia and two nieces Denise Reston Leary of Maryland and Maeve Leary of New York. She was preceded in death by her brother, John who she lived with for 28 years. A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 27 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, September 28, 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church. Father Fidelis Igwenwanne will officiate. (Obit: Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home)
