The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, May 11, 2006 Berniece Summers left for heaven May 3, 2006, at 12:05 a.m. She was born in Stuart, Neb., March 30, 1916, to James and Emma Patterson Potter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester O. Summers, Jr. in 1958 and a son, C. Oakley, Jr., in 2000. Survivors include sons, Don, Craig and Bard; daughters, Crystal and Celeste. Berniece was a 50 year resident of the Prescott area. She was active in her church, the Salvation Army for 56 years, and worked for the church until retiring at 65. Berniece will be much missed.
