Julia Roxie Oldenkamp, 82, of Bend, Ore., formerly of Florence, died Nov. 26, 2006. No services are planned at this time. Mrs. Oldenkamp was born March 12, 1924 in Brownsville, Pa., to Rasmus and Lona Knudsen. She married Howard Oldenkamp on Oct. 26, 1943 in Pocatello, Idaho. Mrs. Oldenkamp was a homemaker. She was a member of the Golden Age Club of Bend. She enjoyed golf, fishing, gardening, reading and playing pinochle with friends. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Cary of Bend, Scott of Florence and John of Twin Falls, Idaho; a daughter, Bonnie Huffman of Pocatello; 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters. Memorial contributions may be made to HospiceCenter, 2145 N.E. Wyatt Court, Bend, OR 97701. Deschutes Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
