Verona E. McDaniel, 92, of Dewey, Arizona, born June 13, 1914, in Rock Island, Ill., died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2006, in Prescott Valley, Arizona.

Commemoration services in Verona’s honor will take place at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, at the Sunrise Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott Valley.
