Esther Evelyn Duncan, a resident of Lake Havasu City, AZ for more than 33 years, passed away October 30, 2006 at Prestige Assisted Living in Lake Havasu City. She was 87 years old.
Born and raised in Missouri, Esther was the second of five sisters of Mary and Cleveland Hall. In 1935 she met and married Kenneth Elwood Duncan who nick named her "Suzy".
During World War II they worked together at Sheffield Steel Mill in Kansas City, MO. They moved to California in 1946 and raised their three sons. In 1973 they moved to Lake Havasu City. She loved helping all and spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed.
Suzy is survived by two of her sons and their wives, Don and Zoe Ann Duncan of Sequim, WA and Dean and Tarri Duncan of Lake Havasu City; daughter-in-law, Juanita Duncan of Reno, NV; 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth and her son, Larry.
A memorial service is scheduled at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 18, 2006 at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home Chapel.
