FLURY, Virgil Alfred

Virgil Alfred Flury, 82, passed away October 17, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Alfred and Addie (Koenig) Flury on September 9, 1924 in Toledo, OH. Virgil moved to Lake Havasu 8 years ago from Visalia, CA. He was an Independent Gardener, doing landscape maintenance in Lake Havasu for 9 years. He was a past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus and a member of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church. Virgil was a hard worker and a loyal friend. Virgil is survived by his loving family, sons, Bob Flury of San Jose, CA and John Flury of Monterey, CA; daughter, Susan Flury of Lake Havasu; sister, Dorothy Blausey of Toledo, OH; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Mary. A memorial mass will be held Friday, October 20, 2006, 10:30 am at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church.
