Charles Edward Fox Dec. 10, 1937-Jan. 27, 2008 Wednesday, January 30, 2008 11:35 AM MST Charles Edward Fox, 70, passed away Sunday in Kingman. He was born Dec. 20, 1937 to Joseph and Maryellen (Purcell) Fox in Bloomington, Ind. Charlie married Jeanette "Sue" Chandler on Aug. 17, 1957, and together they made Lake Havasu City their home 3 1/2 years ago from Buena Park, Calif. He served under the direction of the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Lucus Western as an engineer for 35 years in the aerospace industry. Charlie attended daily board meetings at the Moose Lodge.He was also a member of the Elks, Eagles and the American Legion in Lake Havasu City and Orange, Calif. He enjoyed boating on the lake in his pontoon boat. Charlie had a special zest for life; he was a very likeable person and had many friends, whom he loved to have over for a visit. Charlie leaves behind his beloved wife of 50 years, Sue Fox, of Lake Havasu City; sons, Chuck Fox, of Orange, Calif., Mike Fox, of Lake Havasu City and Ron Fox of Buena Park, Calif.; daughter, Robin Fox, of Anaheim, Calif.; brothers, Kenny Fox, David Fox and Tommy Fox, all of Indianapolis, Ind.; sisters, Nancy Kriech, of Santa Barbara, Calif., Linda Roser and Cathy Burns, both of Indianapolis, Ind.; seven grandchildren, Tina Moore, Scott Fox, Michael Fox, Joe Fox, Phillip Fox, Bethany Fox and Brennan Fox and two great grandchildren, Cash and Gavin Moore. A visitation will be held Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Lietz-Fraze Chapel.Burial will follow the services at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.Military honors will be presented by the VFW Post 9401 and American Legion Post 81.
