GILBERT, Harold

Born January 1, 1917 Harold Gilbert passed away October 29, 2008 in Lake Havasu City at the age of 91. He was born to Jack and Beena (Eckler) Gilbert on January 1, 1917 in Toronto, Canada. Harold married his beloved bride Betty Okner in 1940 and together they made Lake Havasu their home 22 years ago from Tarzana, CA. He liked to stay busy, so he went to work with his son, Brian at Sofa City. Harold loved to tell stories and take trips to the Golden Nuggett in Laughlin. Harold leaves behind his son, Harvey Gilbert of Beverly Hills, CA; sister, Sadie Langbord of Toronto, Canada; daughter-in-law, Jackie Gilbert; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty, who passed away in 1994 and son, Brian, who passed away in 1999.
