MASON, Caroline Mary (Carole)

Caroline Mary Mason, 72, died Tuesday, September 7th, 2004 at her home in Lake Havasu City, AZ; of cancer. Born Caroline Dolce in Buffalo, New York, she was the only child of Benedict Dolce and Antoinette (Lena) Agnello, both of Buffalo, NY. Carole Mason relocated to Lake Havasu City, AZ; in 1968 from Rochester, NY; and was considered a Lake Havasu City pioneer along with her former husband, Gene Mason, who also died of cancer in 1998. She was a participant at the dedication of the London Bridge and worked for McCulloch Inc; in various capacities including the Nautical Inn. For the past several years she worked at Food City/Bashas' and was nearing retirement. Carole is survived by her three children, Alessa Adamo of Pacifica, CA; Ben Adamo of Phoenix, AZ; Charlene Milam of Fortuna, CA; and six grandchildren. Carole Mason was the anchor that secured her family through the years, but the blue lake of Havasu was her anchor. And now the small plot of land near her beloved lake eternally anchors her to her Earthly home even as she ascends into Heaven. There will be a graveside service for all who would like to attend on Monday, September 13, 2004 at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens, Lake Havasu City, AZ; at 10:00 am with Deacon Gil Lopez officiating In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Carole's name to Hospice of Havasu, P.O.
