MELNYCZUK, Dolores Rose

Dolores Rose Melnyczuk, 85, passed away on September 11, 2008 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on September 26, 1922 in Detroit, MI; to John and Celia (Jurkirewicz) Chojnacki. Dolores moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 30 years ago from Warren, MI. She worked as an office clerk for General Motors-Fisher Body Division in Warren, MI; for 15 years. Dolores and her husband were constant companions from the day they met in junior high school. They worked and traveled together for 56 years and owned a home based photography business in Michigan together. Dolores is survived by her grandson, Andrew Melnyczuk of Michigan; niece Sophie Nosal of Canada and several cousins as well. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael and son James. Visitation will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Sunday, September 14, 2008 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary said at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, September 15, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.
