Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, December 13, 2007 W.G. “Bill” Gipe passed away quietly on Dec. 6, 2007, in Mesa, Ariz. . He and wife Peggy spent 55 years together together raising a family and enjoying enjoying their grandchildren. Bill worked as a guidance counselor at Yavapai College for nearly 30 years where he was respected for his professionalism and his ability to relate to students of all ages and backgrounds. After retiring, he and Peggy split their time between Prescott and Phoenix. He was preceded in death by his parents, Reuben and Marie Lee Gipe; brother Calvin and sister Elizabeth. Along with Peggy, Bill also leaves behind four children children – Bruce and Susan of Los Angeles, Calif., Jesse and Jordan, Jon and Jaime of Phoenix, Jerome A celebration of Bill’s life will be noon Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007, at New Hope Community Church, 251 N. Roosevelt Ave., Chandler, AZ 85226. When Jesus takes your hand, He holds you tight. When Jesus holds you tight, He leads you through life.
