NEWCOMB, DOLORES EARLENE April 25, 1930 to May 23, 2008 Dolores Earlene Newcomb passed away on Friday, May 23, 2008 in Lake Havasu City at the age of 78. She was born on April 25, 1930 in Los Angeles, CA to Clifford and Helen (Smith) Strong. Dolores and her husband Richard moved to Arizona 26 years ago from Huntington Beach and settled in Prescott, where they made their home for 9 years. In 1991, they moved to Lake Havasu City. Dolores enjoyed playing tennis, was a great seamstress and also spent many hours knitting. Dolores leaves behind her husband of 58 years, Richard; sons, Dale (Debra) Newcomb of Walnut Creek, CA and Gregg (Everlisa) Newcomb of Anaheim, CA; grandchildren, Gregory, Christopher, Sarah and Joshua and two great grandchildren. A visitation will be on Friday, May 30, 2008, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow the visitation at 11:30 AM at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. Rev. Carol Sheffield will offer words of comfort and inspiration.
