RYZEWSKI, Robert Roland

August 08, 1929 to January 21, 2009 Robert Roland Ryzewski passed away in Lake Havasu City, AZ on January 21, 2009 at the age of 79. He was born to Chester and Florence (Relinski) Ryzewski on August 8, 1929 in Hammond, IN. Robert graduated from Bishop Noll High School in 1947. In 1952 he joined the Naval Reserve serving during the Korean Conflict. During this time he married his beloved bride Muriel Greatix on May 15, 1954. He was a meat cutter by trade, working for Deluxe Market in Hammond, IN for many years. Robert was a member of the Catholic Church, Elks, VFW and Eagles. He cared deeply about his family, his beloved Labrador Retrievers and being outside with nature. Robert leaves behind his loving wife of 54 years, Muriel Ryzewski of Lake Havasu; son Robert (Lee) Ryzewski and two grandsons Chester and Jake, all of Temecula, CA; niece Rhonda Stedman of Lake Village, IN and two nephews, Ronald Ryzewski of Hammond, IN and Donald Ryzewski of Griffith, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2009, 10:00 AM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Rev. Richard Rounds will offer words of comfort and inspiration. Interment will be held at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.
