The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 06/28/2005 Valeree Sue Reidhead Claude, 33, died Friday, June 24, 2005 in Pinetop She was born and raised in Show Low, graduating from Show Low High School in 1990. She was a cheerleader; she also played high school volleyball and was a member of the High School Rodeo Association from 1988-1991. Following high school she married Jeremy Flores in 1993 and they had two children, Chance Lane Flores and Chandler Jaycee Flores. Valeree was a personal trainer in the valley before moving to Show Low where she owned and operated Cabanna Tanning in Lakeside. She later married Travis Claude Aug. 14, 2001. In July of 2003 she went to work for the Pinetop Fire Department as a firefighter and EMT. Valeree took a lot of pride in her work and had a great love for serving the community. She loved her children dearly and was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister and friend who will be greatly missed. Valeree is survived by her husband, Travis Claude; children, Chance and Chandler Flores; step-son, Tanner Claude; parents, Sonny and Suzi Reidhead of Show Low; sisters, Darbi (Jerry) Woolford of Show Low, Shannon (Brad) Wilson of Gilbert; brother, Dustin (Michelle) Reidhead of Show Low; four nieces and four nephews; grandmother, Nellie Troutt of Phoenix; and her family at Pinetop Fire Department. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at the Show Low Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Owens Mortuary in Show Low. Interment will be in the Show Low Cemetery. A benefit account will be set up for Valeree's children at National Bank in Pinetop. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements. Fire Station 2. Valeree began her employment with the Pinetop Fire Department as a reserve firefighter on March 7, 2003 and was hired as a full-time firefighter on July 1, 2003.
